The Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI) has appointed a new Chief Executive.

David Taylor has joined the association after almost two decades of working in the motorcycle industry and will be building on the current successes of the MCI following the retirement of CEO Geoff Sherley.

David commences his role at the MCI after almost ten years of achievements at BMW Motorrad. Prior to this he was Managing Director at Harley Davidson UK. In addition, David has previously served the MCI as a board member and has been involved in a number of MCI initiatives during his time in the industry.

David said: "I will build on the work which has already been carried out at MCI and continue to serve our members. Having experienced the MCI from a member perspective, I am in the position to offer valuable resources to maintain and improve our service levels."

"Motorcycling continues to grab the attention of both the press and politicians alike, so the MCIA is duty bound to build a positive agenda for its members to grow healthily."
