TRIUMPH CHOOSES BRIDGESTONE FOR NEW ROCKET III

Bridgestone UK is continuing to partner Triumph motorcycles after securing an exclusive fitment on the Rocket III Touring.

The purpose-built touring cruiser will wear Bridgestone Exedra Radials as 100 per cent original equipment.

The tyres are designed to deliver light, precision steering for the impressive machine without sacrificing stability.

"Bridgestone already supplies a wide range of tyres to Triumph as original equipment, and we're extremely proud to strengthen our links with the company by adding our Exedra pattern to that product list," said Gary Hartshorne, head of OE and Technical for Bridgestone UK Motorcycle.

"The Exedra was selected for the Rocket III Touring purely on performance, which reflects the calibre of the tyre. The fitment underlines our strength in depth as we continue to manufacture quality products for leading bikes in every riding sector."

While it shares the same 2.3-litre engine as the acclaimed Rocket III, the chassis of the Rocket III Touring, which was designed and developed in house by Triumph engineers, is virtually all new, including a new frame, wheels, suspension, fuel tank, instruments and lights. The only things that remain unaltered are the rear light, mirrors, brake disk and calipers.

The bike's suspension is specifically tuned for touring and provides a sumptuous riding experience at all speeds. This comfort is further enhanced by the Exedra Radial rubber.

The tyres are available now in a size 150/80 front and 180/70 rear for the Rocket III Touring, both for 16-inch rims.
