As UK consumers grapple with rising motoring costs, Tesco's 13 million customers are apparently set to make significant savings on the cost of tyres with the launch of Tesco-Tyres.com, the UK's biggest motoring venture of the last ten years. 

The UK's leading retailer has joined forces with leading online tyre retailer Blackcircles.com to launch the motoring venture that will deliver savings of up to 40% and help customers earn Clubcard points with the purchase of every tyre.

An extensive range of quality tyres for cars, vans and motorcylces - including high performance and 4x4 tyres - will be available from all major brands including Pirelli and Mitchelin bike tyres.

Peter Smith, joint managing director of trade wholesaler Bike Tyrestore, was not surprised by the announcement, commenting, "In my view, the best deal for any rider buying tyres will be to continue to include the expertise available at motorcycle dealerships and two-wheel tyre specialists, where both bike and rider are in the safest of hands."
