March 23 2006.
Peugeot is reinforcing its position with the announcement that, with effect from 1st April 2006, selected models will come with nine months worth of free fuel.
Last year the French company took the market by storm with the Ludix, a modular range of scooters with prices starting at under £800.  This year Peugeot is focusing on its iconic Speedfight, available in both 50cc and 100cc specification, which has consistently featured in the UK's statistics for best selling scooters since its launch 10 years ago.  Joining the Speedfight in this offer is the Jetforce, a state-of-the-art 125cc 4-stroke.
Peugeot has calculated that, based on average mileage and fuel consumption figures, it would be possible to run a 50cc scooter for up to 9 months on 100 litres of fuel.  So anyone buying a new Speedfight or Jetforce scooter between now and May 2006 will receive a cheque from Peugeot for £90, sufficient to buy 100 litres of unleaded petrol.
"Not only do you get the hottest, smartest, multi award-winning scooters on the market, but now we'll even pay for you to ride one!" comments Peugeot's Sales Director Richard Davies.
Prices start at £1,599 on the road for the Speedfight 50, with the 100cc version selling from £1,699 and the Jetforce for £2,399 and this generous offer will last until 31st May 2006.  All are covered by Peugeot's 2-year warranty and preferential insurance rates are available through long-term partner MCE.
