February 24 2011.

Look out for the March issue of Motorcycle Trader landing from today.

This month, our Bucking the Trend series highlights TranAm Limited and Performance Toys. Whilst the two companies are at opposite ends of the distribution scale, in terms of product range and size, both have expanded their portfolios and are successfully exploring new opportunities.

Over on the media front, SuperBike magazine faced a monumental change towards the end of 2010 when it was sold by IPC; what does the change of ownership mean for the title? Motorcycle Trader spoke to editor Kenny Pryde to find out.

If you are thinking of setting up a new website, then it could well be worth your while taking a look at Alastair Walker's Online Trading article in which he covers online functionality and industry service providers.

For those who didn't manage to visit a show over the winter months, you may be wondering what the brightest and boldest new products are for 2011. We've done the work for you in the new issue of Motorcycle Trader, with a comprehensive selection of the items that caught our eye through show season. Elsewhere in the magazine, Mike Jackson catches up with a modest Michael Evans, head of industry PR specialist Murray Evans who provided a service to, amongst others, the annual motorcycle show back in the day when its attendance of paid visitors sat shy of the 200,000 mark.

Regular columnists have their say; Business Journal takes a look at tax legislation on expenses and The Bribery Act; and the Motorcycle Trader Directory, updated monthly, provides must-have contact details of manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.
