March 17 2011.

R&G Racing, the world's number one manufacturer of motorcycle crash protection, has extended its sponsorship deal with the Samsung Crescent Suzuki British Superbike team.

The British firm, the only crash protection provider to be recognised for discounts by insurance companies, invests heavily into racing each year to support the industry it loves and to aid with research and development of its products.

The agreement with Samsung Crescent Racing in 2011 is the continuation of a successful partnership that narrowly missed out on the British Superbike championship under the guise of Worx Crescent Suzuki with Tommy Hill in 2010.

For 2011, R&G Racing products will adorn the Samsung-liveried GSX-R1000s of former MotoGP star, John Hopkins, and reigning National Superstock champion, Jon Kirkham.

Kirkham was also personally sponsored by R&G last season and will once again be using its popular Aero Knee Sliders and Deluxe Helmet Bag, in addition to bike protection and exhaust hangers.

On reaching the new deal Paul Denning, Samsung Crescent Racing team owner, commented: 'Our Crescent Motorcycle dealerships are more than familiar with the products offered by R&G Racing, as well as the numerous testimonials from our many satisfied customers who have saved money by fitting their diverse range of crash protection products.

'Crescent Racing started working closely with R&G last year when we ran a number of its products on our GSX-R1000 British Superbike machines. We're very pleased to be continuing our partnership with what is truly the market leader of motorcycle crash protection and taking the relationship a step further this year by playing a part in developing some of their new products.'

R&G Racing will be running various promotions throughout the season to help celebrate this working partnership.
