TAIL RAISING KITS FROM WMD
March 30 2011.

TRW Lucas Tail-Riser, or 'Jack-Up' kits from WMD allow the rear of a machine to be raised, modifying the height and tilt of a bike.

By placing more weight on the front of the bike, tail-raiser kits have the aesthetic appeal of giving the bike a 'meaner', aggressive forward leaning look. However the main reason for raising the tail is to alter the steering characteristics - By raising the tail, the angle of the front and therefore the rake and trail are changed. This results in far quicker steering on a smaller turning circle, without any loss of ground clearance.

These kits are also popular amoung tall riders, as it raises the seat, giving more space for long legs when the bike is stopped.

As with WMD's lowering kits, these TUV Homologated tail raiser kits are made with laser-processed stainless steel or CNC milled alluminium and are designed by German engineers to handle the stresses and weight required of them.
