A new addition to the ever-increasing Andover Norton product range is this headsteady which is designed to improve the handling and stability of the Norton Commando.

The Production Racer Headsteady (part No 06.7263) replaces the standard cylinder headsteady mounts, forming a third Isolastic engine mount where the cylinder head meets the frame. This helps prevents the lateral movement that is inherent with the standard set up, which can adversely effect the handling of a standard Commando. An added benefit of the Isolastic mount over more rigid designs is that it does not compromise the vibration damping characteristics for which the Commando frame is famous.

Developed using original drawings made by Peter Williams at the Thruxton race shop, Andover Norton has recreated this Headsteady and has enabled compatibility with all variants of the Commando. Adjustment of the Headsteady is possible both in height and lateral movement to allow for ease of fitting and is supplied complete with assembly instructions.

All steel parts are bright zinc plated to keep it looking good for years, and the clamp is machined from alloy billet to give a strong coupling to the frame tube.

The retail price is £145.00 +VAT.
