Bridgestone Biker's Club has organised an event for bikers to raise money for victims of Japan's recent earthquake and tsunami.

The meet will start from Wheelhouse Tyres in Birmingham on Sunday 5th June 2011.

The entry fee for participants is £10 which will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross. The entry donation will cover riders' entry to the meet, a gift bag and refreshments, courtesy of Bridgestone. Entertainment will be provided by a DJ and a VIP will greet riders and draw the raffle winners.

A raffle will also be offered at £10 a ticket, with prizes such as a Biker's World Retail Voucher, Bridgestone biker apparel, a signed helmet and 2 places at the Ron Haslam Race School Silverstone which are all up for grabs.

Andy Dingley, communications manager at Bridgestone, said: "Bridgestone is a Japanese company and in the wake of the tragic events which devastated Japan, we want to offer any relief we can to those affected by this disaster. We are hoping to raise lots of money for the cause, whilst offering bikers a fun event."
