March 30 2006.

Over a year after moving into its spacious new, purpose-built premises, the Oxford team are finally starting to feel at home.
After years in a cramped mismatch of buildings, which compromised both product range and service, the new facility has revolutionised the way Oxford does business, both in the UK and around the world.
Over 2,000 product lines now flow in and out of the business on nearly twice as many despatch consignments as two years ago. A surge in new products has been joined by extra sizes and colours in existing lines to offer a gap-free line up of universal, branded accessories. A veritable one-stop shop for the industry's fastest moving accessory lines, all of which can be viewed in Oxford's 1,000sq ft  showroom.
Half a million locks, nearly a million accessories and well over 100,000 items of luggage make up the crucial Oxford branded back-bone of the company. Add to this the continuing success story of the world's biggest helmet brand (HJC) and the surprise package, which is Oxford's own budget helmet brand (BOX), and you can see what a difference the move has made to the business.
Buoyed up by the fruits of their labour and feeling just a little nostalgic, some of the old boys at Oxford, (35 is 'old' at youthful OP!), recently secured a tiny piece of their motorcycle racing history. Bought from new in the 1960s and raced ever since, John Hammond's original Oxford sponsored Aermacchi racer now adorns the entrance foyer to greet visitors and to remind them of the company's heritage.
As far as Oxford has come since 1973, the company has identified and is exploring numerous avenues for growth and diversification both in the UK and abroad. In fact, a young and driven management team plans to double the company's business over the next five years.
Having already entertained many their customers at the new building, Oxford is now throwing open its doors to the motorcycle trade and issuing an open invitation to all the owners and accessory buyers of all motorcycle shops in the UK.
If you would like to have a good nose around the headquarters of the UK's favourite motorcycle accessory brand, meet the people who create the famous products and see some of their development work up close, the team at Oxford is looking forward to your call on 01993 862 300 or email .
