Bikesafe (NI) is an initiative that was launched by the police in Northern Ireland to encourage riders to adopt advanced riding skills in order to improve safety on the roads. The team assesses riders' skills on road positioning, anticipation, riding style and safety awareness, and shows them new skills to enable them to enjoy their bike even more. Riders who successfully take an assessed ride also benefit from lower insurance premiums.
As market leaders, Black Horse Motorcycle Finance takes bike safety very seriously, and as such, has heavily supported the BikeSafe initiative over the last four years, working closely with Bikesafe to help them achieve their objectives, as well as sponsoring the Honda Fireblade bikes that the Northern Irish police ride.  Watch out for John Anderson, Motorcycle Finance Director for Black Horse undertaking an assessment of his riding style on Friday, 12th May on one of the Black Horse Honda Fireblades.
Black Horse is committed to motorcycling, and takes a great pride in supporting the Motorcycle Industry through various sponsorships, and promoting key initiatives like Bikesafe.
