Norman Hyde has developed a kit for the current Triumph Bonneville that will enable owners to create their very own 'Street Scrambler' (Bonneville SS), with enhanced control, sound and stopping power.
Fitting Western style bars immediately gives the British twin the appearance of US export models of the Sixties, as well as creating a more upright and relaxed riding position. They are 6" wider than the standard bars, giving improved control at all speeds and have been hand polished & chromed to a high standard.  Hyde Western Bars sell for £150.40 inc. VAT. (including longer brake hose and cables).
Stopping power can be significantly improved by fitting the Hyde front brake conversion, designed in conjunction with AP Lockheed. It includes a full-floating 320mm rust-resistant plated steel disc with aluminium alloy centre, combined with an AP Lockheed 4 piston calliper & Ferodo brake pads (£534.63 inc. VAT at 17.5%).
For many owners, recreating the 'Sounds of the Sixties' will be as important as the machine's appearance.  The Hyde SS exhaust system releases extra power and delivers the classic big twin sound.  It includes mountings, collector box, leg shields, etc and retails for £586.33 inc. VAT at 17.5%.
The alloy skid plate adds a nice finishing touch and will protect the underside of the engine and frame whether on or off road. It is simple to fit and costs £65.80 inc. VAT.
When buying these parts together as the Hyde SS kit, customers will enjoy a 10% discount, bringing the kit price down to £1,203.45 inc. VAT.
