The VRX5 MX helmet from Vemar will now be more widely available thanks to the appointment of The Key Collection as UK distributor.  Vemar helmets had previously been supplied direct to dealers from the Italian factory.
At just 1200g, the VRX5 is extremely light thanks to its tri-composite carbon-aramidic-fibreglass shell, which is produced in two outer sizes for an accurate and comfortable fit.  Its peak is adjustable and a goggle holder is fitted as standard.  The interior lining is removable and washable and comfort is further enhanced thanks to side exhausts that let the hot air escape from inside.  The front vents have anti-insect grilles fitted as standard.
Vemar is a specialist manufacturer, with the capacity to produce 4,600 helmets per day in their Italian factory.  Marc Coma won this year's Paris Dakar rally protected by a Vemar helmet and Spaniard Javier Garcia Vico, who rides for Honda in MX1 & Italy's Alessio Chiodi, currently riding for Yamaha in MX2, are all helping to raise the profile of the brand on the dirt.  The Company has capitalised on this with several eye catching replica models, all finished to a breathtakingly high quality for the price.
The Vemar VRX5 carries the ACU Gold Badge for sport and is available in Movistar and Chiodi replicas as well as Skull and Shadow graphics, in shell sizes XS to XL, priced at £139.99.
