Ventura has announced a range of new fitting kits that will enable owners of the newest machines from Europe and Japan to carry up to 90 litres of luggage safely and securely. Recent additions to the range prove just how versatile the Ventura luggage system can be, with options for supersports bikes like Yamaha R6-V, as well as the streetfighter styled Suzuki GSF600 and retro machines like the Moto Guzzi Breva and Triumph Scrambler.
Ventura combines the light weight and versatility of soft luggage with the ease of use and stability of hard luggage, all thanks to its unique rack system.   This modular system is based around L-brackets, which are tailor made to bolt directly onto existing mounting points on the specific make and model of motorcycle.  They can be fitted with minimal fuss or technical expertise and require only regular tools.  The Pack Rack slots directly into the brackets and as soon as this is attached, a Ventura luggage pack can be slipped into place and clipped on securely in a matter of seconds, allowing the rider to enjoy his trip confident that the load will stay in place (Ventura has been independently tested at over 180mph).  Ventura packs are produced in 35, 45 and 55 litre sizes and it is possible to zip together the 45 litre options to give a massive 90-litre carrying capacity.
When riding solo, the pack sits over the pillion seat, keeping the weight forward and when riding two-up it is turned around, over the rack, leaving the pillion with the maximum amount of space (unlike panniers).  If no luggage is required, the Pack Rack can be replaced with a Grab Handle or Sport Rack depending upon the requirements of the journey.
The systems pictured feature L-brackets, Pack-Rack and 45-litre capacity Spada Pack, (in black, red or blue), giving a total cost of ¬£216.97.  Ventura is currently offering a free Sport Bag, worth ¬£39.99, with every complete Ventura system ordered*.
