Official Öhlins Centre and MX specialist FTR Suspension will take a dedicated supply, fitment and service unit to all rounds of the popular Red Bull Pro Nationals MX Series in 2012. FTR is one of the most knowledgeable MX suspension outfits and this year looked after the DB Racing machines of Elliott Banks-Browne who won the 2011 MX2 class.

The high number of competitors and the breadth of ages and classes has caught the imagination of the Swedish suspension giant who see the Red Bull series as a prime venue to develop products in the off-road sector.

The announcement came at last week's International Dirt Bike Show where Öhlins Centre, MH Racing Services, showcased key 2012 products, including the latest MX forks, the TTX44 MKII rear shock and a new TTX30 shock to suit smaller machines from 50cc to 65cc.

Chris Witter, Business Development Manager, Öhlins Racing UK commented, "We're really excited about this partnership with Events 22. We've been monitoring the Red Bull Pro Nationals series for quite a while and watching it go from strength to strength. The organisers work hard to cater for all riders from Pro's to Youths, which reflects our own ethos where we have MXGP runners and 65cc riders all needing support and advice.

Technical support is a critical element of this partnership and FTR will provide the series with a high level of suspension service and expertise that riders will be able to benefit from in terms of improved handling and less rider fatigue."

Matt Bates, MD of Events 22 and organiser of  the Red Bull Pro Nationals series, added, "It's great news for every rider that Öhlins has joined our ever evolving Red Bull Pro Nationals series. With over 300 riders of all abilities and ages racing at each round, we fully understand the importance of creating an unrivalled level of service. We not only have an exclusive Pirelli tyre service for every rider, we now have an exclusive suspension service that everyone can utilise from race to race. On behalf of the entire team at Events 22, we welcome Ohlins in to our events and look forward to developing the involvement as the leading suspension brand in motocross."
