The new Husqvarna Motocross and Enduro 2007 models have been subjected to important changes to improve both competitiveness and reliability.
A range of nine off road models in total, now all in the red and white colour scheme that made its debut in 2006 on the MX range and that due to public demand, has now been adopted as the official Husqvarna colours for 2007.
The chromatic matching of red and white appears on every panel, the contrast improved by the use of a black fuel tank and black radiator guards for the full 'factory' look. The seat is fitted with a new cover, now featuring the Husqvarna logo on the top. Motocross models are equipped with black Excel rims which again add to the aggressive, racing appearance.
For model year 2007, the CR125 was the object of extensive work made by the Husqvarna Research and Development department. Husqvarna still sees the 125cc two stroke as the correct introductory bike for young riders who step from minicross to the first real big bike and Husqvarna offers an extremely competitive, race ready product..
The crankshaft and combustion chamber have been modified to reduce engine inertia and increase rideability, the second gear ratio has been shortened to help perform better starts, the exhaust system has been redesigned to compliment the engine changes and increase horsepower and the reed block has been substituted with the new V Force.
As for the Enduro version, the 125 has a brand new Brembo rear brake system with an integrated reservoir for the master cylinder.
For the 2007 four stroke MX and Enduro models (250, 450, 510) a limited number of revisions have been made to the transmission to improve efficiency and operation. On the TC 250 the transmission has been strengthened to improve durability and for all four stroke models a new ergal clutch basket is now fitted as well as a new kick start shaft, again for increased durability under all conditions.
The TE models are equipped with a new automatic decompression system that makes starting the bike with the kick or electric start much easier.
Feedback from Husqvarna test riders has resulted in revised suspension settings for all 2007 model TE and TC variants, resulting in greater feeling and smoothness as well as improved front/rear balance.
All 2007 off road Husqvarna models have a new Brembo rear brake master cylinder with integrated brake fluid reservoir.
