Combining light weight with a liquid-cooled two-stroke engine, the Blaster RS12 is the fastest accelerating production 50cc scooter in the world.
The Blaster is the full-on sports version of the Ludix scooter from Peugeot, which is currently heading the UK sales charts. (TOP 5 YEAR TO DATE SCOOTER REGISTRATIONS BY CAPACITY, MCIA, May 2006).
At just 79.5kg it is one of the lightest scooters in its sector, while its liquid cooled 50cc engine pumps out 6.2 BHP in de-restricted form, giving a class-leading power-to-weight ratio. The Blaster RS12 sits on all-new 12" rim tri-spoke wheels with low profile tyres and upside down forks, combining to deliver precise and responsive handling. Stopping power is provided by a substantial 155mm hydraulic wavy disc brake at the front.
The Blaster RS12 looks the business too.  Its striking RS12 livery with gloss black paintwork and dark sports screen give it an aggressive appearance, enhanced by the twin stacked front lights. The aluminium footplates, bar-end weights and two-tone sports seat with red stitching further boost specification. This is rounded off with a colour-matched rear spoiler, inverted sports exhaust and new analogue dashboard.
The Blaster RS12 sets a new pace at only ¬£1,499- on the road. Like all Peugeot scooters, the Blaster RS12 has a two-year manufacturer's warranty for peace of mind, fully supported by a national dealer network and UK customer service and parts centre.  Affordable insurance is available through Peugeot's long-term partner, MCE (Tel. 0870 01-01-125).
