Kawasaki has issues a recall on Ninja ZX-6R and Ninja ZX-10R models due to a possible fault with the voltage regulator.

In some cases this fault can cause discharge of the battery, resulting in difficult starting or, in some circumstances, an engine stall while riding.

Kawasaki has issued a recall of all affected units and is contacting registered owners of the machines affected by letter, asking them to contact their nearest authorised dealer to get their machine repaired.

For any machine affected, Kawasaki will replace the entire regulator with a new, updated unit. The repair is estimated to take a maximum of one hour to complete.

Customers with any further enquiries should speak to Kawasaki Customer Service on 01628 856750.
