Market leading point of sale finance provider, Black Horse Motorcycle Finance, showed its support for the Motorcycle Association and the motorcycle industry as a whole by taking part in the National Ride to Work Day on Wednesday, 19th July 2006 as part of the National Ride to Work Week.
The majority of the Black Horse Motorcycle sales team used their bikes to ride to work, in an attempt to raise awareness of many of the social, economic and environmental benefits of riding a bike or scooter on today's congested, polluted and dangerous roads.
Aimed at getting more people onto bikes, the Ride to Work campaign is now an annual event, and one that the Black Horse team fully endorses and proactively promotes.
Dave Macey is a member of the Motorcycle Association Show Committee, and John Anderson, Motorcycle Finance Director for Black Horse is a board member of the Motorcycle Association itself.
John Anderson said, "We believe that if we support this campaign and the benefits of riding on two wheels, we'll go some way to generating positive news about motorcycles in the press, and ultimately help increase sales of bikes and scooters in dealerships around the country."
