Close Motor Finance (CMF) - specialists in providing retail and dealer funding packages for motor, motorcycle, light-commercial and caravan dealers - has moved from itsoffices in Orton Southgate to more spacious accommodation in the city.
The move took place because they had outgrown the Orton base. Amanda Paul, Senior Administrator at the Peterborough Branch said: "Due to the expansion of our team our previous office was getting a little cramped so we've relocated to the heart of Peterborough. Our new office has a lot more space which gives us further room for expansion."
The move has not caused any problem for the staff's travel arrangements, as the new offices are just a short distance from their previous offices at Orton Southgate.
Staff will be sharing the building with sister company Close Brothers Military Services in a move to consolidate Close Motor Finance's Peterborough base.
The company prides itself on employing local people with in-depth knowledge of their customer's requirements, providing a traditional approach to account management. The easily accessible Peterborough branch is well set up to offer a quality personal service to both dealers and customers.
Amanda added: "The move went very well and we are continuing to supply dealers and customers in the Peterborough area with the same high level of service."
The move follows a recent venture into Wales, with the opening of a new Cardiff branch, which has increased Close Motor Finance's already wide UK coverage. There are currently thirteen CMF branches spanning Southampton to Scotland.
Janet Wilson, Managing Director of Close Motor Finance said: "This is a really good move for the Peterborough team.
"The new base provides very good working environment for the existing team with room to expand if necessary."
