Skidmarx have extended their range of huggers to cover many of the key 2006 model big capacity motorcycles, in some cases ahead of the manufacturers*.  New models covered include the 200bhp Kawasaki ZZ-R1400, Suzuki Bandit 1200K6 and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.   Huggers are a styling accessory with a practical side, as they enhance the look of the bike whilst offering under-body, shock and linkage protection.  The wide rear tyres on these big powerful machines can kick up a lot of dirt as they munch through the miles so the rear end needs all the protection it can get, so these are an easy add-on sale.
All Skidmarx huggers are manufactured in the UK from GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), which can also be styled into many different shapes, so each hugger has its own distinctive style.  The Bandit 1200 hugger has an integral chain guard with a cut-away section and a lower section that bolts below the swing arm, the ZZ-R1400 hugger has two long 'legs' so that it can fitted neatly to existing bolt holes, while the Zx-10R version is even available in lime green.  All Skidmarx huggers are designed to bolt directly to existing mounting points without modification and are supplied with all necessary fittings.
Skidmarx produce their huggers in black, although blue, red and lime green options are available on request, with retail prices from ¬£65.50 inc. VAT.  Standard trade discount starts at 25%.  Most other popular motorcycles are covered - full details are available on the web site or in the free colour catalogue.
