LATE FILING PENALTIES FOR 2011-12 EMPLOYER ANNUAL RETURN

HM Customs & Revenue (HMRC) has issued a reminder that the 19 May deadline for sending your 2011-12 Employer Annual Return (forms P35 and P14) online has now passed. If you still haven't filed your return, you will be charged a late filing penalty.

If you didn't file online and receive confirmation that your return was accepted by 11.59 pm on Saturday 19 May 2012, you will be charged a penalty.

If you are exempt from filing online and you have chosen to file on paper, your Employer Annual Return should have been with HMRC when post wass opened today, Monday 21 May 2012.

To limit any penalties you may incur, send your return now without delay.
