23 May 2012.

With more exhibitors, clubs and manufacturers in attendance than the previous four years and more advanced ticket sales, the May BMF Show at Peterborough saw some 38,298 visits brave the autumnal weather.

The "Blues, Booze & Bikers" sold out of beer and showcased loads of great bands. The main arena played host to the ACU 1000cc Sidecar Championship and elsewhere in the show the UK Qualifier of the BMW's Motorrad GS Trophy took place. Under the careful gaze of Paris-Dakar legend Si Pavey, the riders showed the skill required to manoeuvre the mighty machines over a range of obstacles. Three winners were selected and they will now go on to represent GB at the World finals in South America later this year

Show organiser, The Mulberry Group, is now turning its attention to the next two BMF shows of the year; Kelso on the 7th & 8th July and back to Peterborough for the Tailend Show on 15th & 16th September.
