LeoVince has been working hard during the winter months of 2006 to develop its exhausts for the latest breed of 2007 bikes, and in particular the new 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000.

The factory has sponsored and collaborated with many race teams on the earlier GSX-R1000 models with great success, and for 2007 this will continue.

For this new model, LeoVince has worked closely with TAS Racing, part of the TAS Suzuki set-up based in Northern Ireland. The TAS connection is a new collaboration for LeoVince, and together with MOTO.GB, the UK Leo Vince distributor, they will be spearheading the brand in the UK.

TAS Racing has signed Bruce Anstey to compete in the British Superstock series for 2007 and also the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200, and the Ulster GP. TAS will also be competing with a LeoVince equipped 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 in the British Supersport series, with riders Ian Lowry and Michael Laverty.

With Suzuki making so many changes to the '07 1000 bike and especially the exhaust system, this meant many hours of testing and evaluation for LeoVince. The '07 stock exhaust layout as we all know is a 4/2/1/2 configuration, but LeoVince has developed many options, including a 4/2/1/2 'Corsa' system for Superstock bikes, a 4/2/1 systems for road/track bikes, and several slip-on alternatives.

The factory developed the different versions in order to satisfy racing regulations throughout the world, and also to give the road biker more choice. LeoVince's two main factories - one in Italy, and the other in the USA - assists the development and production of systems for world markets and not just Europe. In the USA for instance, race regulations are different to Europe, and the 4/2/1 system was developed firstly for the US market.

CORSA is LeoVince's ultimate race exhaust, specifically designed for race bikes, with a 4/2/1/2 layout, entirely made in titanium and sporting the latest FACTORY design cans - Short, distinctive style design with a flat top & bottom, making for a more sporty, compact look, with the addition of the new design carbon fibre conical tailpipes. Lightweight and more powerful than stock and designed with a better torque spread.

FACTORY systems for the GSX-R1000 have been developed by LeoVince as 4/2/1 exhausts, with the emphasis on a lower price, lighter weight and more power. Headers and pipes are constructed from AISI 304 stainless, TIG welded, with a single FACTORY can, in titanium, mounted on the right hand side. These systems will be available in a choice of EVO II, fully road legal and 'E' marked, (with the benefit of removable baffles), and also full race versions. All single "FACTORY' cans will have the new conical tailpipe, plus customers can choose from either carbon fibre or titanium sleeves on the cans.

All systems are the same price at £842.95 + vat (£990 incl vat).

"FACTORY" slip-ons. Specifically designed by LeoVince for the rider who does not want to change his headers, this single "FACTORY" titanium can  is made as a slip-on, with the added benefit that the included pipework has been designed to remove the underslung catalyst box. This not only makes for more power, but also saves weight. Available in a choice of road legal EVO II, or race option, with the new style carbon fibre conical tailpipe, and again, a choice of titanium or carbon fibre sleeves.

All one price at £366 + vat (£430 incl vat).

"OVAL" slip-ons. These are the new look 'OVALs' from LeoVince - with conical tailpipes in matt stainless finish. The cans are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless, with a choice of brushed alloy, carbon fibre or titanium outer sleeves. Available as pairs, to slip onto the original two connections at the base of the bike, these cans enhance the sound and power of the GSXR1000, but are available at competitive prices. As usual with LeoVince-SBK exhausts, there is a choice of EVO II road legal type, or race specification, at the same prices. All sets include a pair of 'OVAL' cans, a pair of link pipes, fitting kits.

CATALYST ELIMINATOR. Designed by LeoVince to remove the catalyst box for machines that retain the original 4/2/1/2 layout. This can be fitted with the pairs of LeoVince 'OVAL' slip-on pairs above, or with standard exhausts. Manufactured in AISI 304 stainless.
