With the nation's buoyant bicycle market still enjoying the international successes of British riders this year, exhibitors at the upcoming Cycle Show at the NEC - 28 to 30 September - are gearing up for what promises to be a bumper show.

One such exhibitor is NEC first-timer Rubena; the Czech tyre brand manufactured wholly in Europe. Whilst relatively new to the UK, Rubena is no new kid on the block in terms of bicycle tyre production, and can chart its history back to 1928. The brand is hugely popular in mainland Europe, where it is stocked by giant sports chain Decathlon, and the UK distributor is optimistic that visitors to the Cycle Show will be equally impressed with the quality of its euro-rubber.

Rubena will be running a free daily prize draw competition from stand M36 in hall nine, with a set of tyres up for grabs every day of the Show. What's more, any cycle enthusiasts who can show they've followed Rubena on Twitter, or liked its Facebook page via prior to the show, can lay claim to an exclusive Rubena-branded sports water bottle.

"Rubena products are starting to appeal to riders looking for something new and exciting," said Rubena UK sales manager Adam Rous. "We're keyed up about exhibiting for the first time at the Cycle Show and look forward to meeting new and existing customers and presenting our products to visitors.
