Returning the BMF Tailend Show to Peterborough proved to be the right move for show organisers, The Mulberry Group, who report an excellent show. The weather clearly helped bring over 15,000 people on site over the weekend and a good end to an otherwise weather-affected season.

There were several new innovations to this year's show including the Vertical Trix European Stunt Competition which saw competitors travel from across Europe to compete for a prize fund of £6,000. The dedicated stunt arena provided weekend-long entertainment for the crowds, and the sound of the  bikes and screeching tyres provided great background noise to the whole event.

The Best in Show competition was held at the Tailend for the first time this year, and attracted over 8,000 votes from the public. The overall Best in Show was won by Glen Shaw with his Yamaha MT-01 Streetfighter, pictured above.

The innovative Bikers, Blues 'n' Booze bar, introduced at the May Show, provided musical entertainment, while the campers were given the choice of two live stages. The great line up on the main stage was topped off by  Dr & The Medics.

The ACU 1000cc Sidecar racing took place on Saturday in the main arena, culminating in an exciting final where Mark Cosser and Carl Blythe took first prize. The main arena also hosted the Moped Enduro, which this year boasted a new track layout to make the race even more challenging and fun to watch. The Enduro was dominated by team 100% Proof who won both Race 1 and Race 2 and they clocked the Fasted Lap on Saturday. The winner of the 2-Stroke Step-Thru class was Team Druid with Team Manea-Axe achieving the fastest lap.
