Following the success of its Motor Warranty product, which was endorsed by motoring expert Quentin Willson in 2005, Black Horse is now set to launch a Motorcycle version of its warranty product to all bike dealers later this month.

In entering the motorcycle warranty market for the first time, Black Horse hopes to demonstrate the company's determination to help dealers, by broadening its product portfolio in dealerships nationwide.

Called Black Horse Motorcycle Warranty, the product is available to all bike dealers - new, used and franchised. Two levels of warranty are available, offering cover for 3, 6, 12 and 24 months, with no mileage limitations.

John Anderson, Motorcycle Finance Director, Black Horse said "It is our intention to be a major player in the warranty market, and Car Care Plan, with their reputation for fair claims settlement and innovative products, was the perfect partner.

"Black Horse Motorcycle Warranty will make the most of the strengths of both companies, and will provide bike dealers with a robust and competitively-priced product that has been developed specifically for their market.

"It is a great development by Black Horse and one that I'm confident will give dealers another genuine profit opportunity."

Tim Heavisides, CEO for Car Care Plan, said "Warranty and insurance products are an essential element of a customer's bike-buying experience, and a product backed by two major players in the market will give customers confidence and enhance the dealer's reputation.

Black Horse Motorcycle Warranty will be administered by Car Care Plan, from its West Yorkshire headquarters, where staff have a reputation for settling claims fairly, speedily and efficiently.

Tim continues, "This is a massive opportunity for both companies, and - more importantly - for bike dealerships nationwide."
