THE COLDEST JOURNEY
January 3 2013.

The Coldest Journey is the first ever attempt to cross the Antarctic continent during the polar winter and will be led by Sir Ranulph Fiennes. The ultimate objective is to raise $10 million for Seeing is Believing, a global initiative to tackle avoidable blindness in developing countries.

Oxford Products, the UK distributor of HJC helmets, has provided Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his team with HJC helmets fitted with heated visors, to help them tackle cold temperatures as low as -89°C.

The expedition started on the 6th of December 2012. Ranulph and his team will travel 2,000 miles overall and the journey is due to complete in September 2013.
