JAPANESE MOTORCYCLE PRODUCTION AND EXPORTS DOWN

Figures released today by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association show Japanese motorcycle production and exports fell by 22% in February 2013, compared to February 2012.


Total production by all factories fell by 22.7% to 51309 units, with total exports down 22.4% at 43678 units.

Suzuki suffered the lowest drop in production for the same period at 2% and Yamaha was the only manufacturer to actually incease exports, showing a 3.6% rise.
