Already a 'normous' success, autojumbles at Newark are now set to become even bigger and better thanks to the team that already organises some of Britain's biggest and best bike shows.

Mortons Media Group has now taken over the Newark Showground car and bike jumble events previously run by Jeff Needham at Penny Farthing Fairs under the banner 'Normous Newark'.

Jeff, who will work with the Mortons' team for the first five events to ensure a smooth handover, typically holds nine one-day events every year at the Nottinghamshire venue, and the first one under the new deal will be this coming weekend on Sunday, April the 7th, where 'early birds' gain entry from 8.00am to 9.00am for £10, with the general public paying £6 from 10.00am.

Following the announcement of the deal Jeff said: "I am extremely pleased that the events have been passed on to such a recognised company as Mortons. I have known many of the staff for years and feel secure in the knowledge that they can take the events forward. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone who has been involved in 'Normous' Newark, the stall holders, the customers and the classic owners,  and I wish all every success for the future."

Mortons' growing shows portfolio includes massive events at Stafford, as well as other successful shows at Newark, Lanark, Netley Marsh and Bristol as well as the International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park.

Nick Mowbray, exhibitions manager with Mortons' Classic Bike Shows team said he was ecstatic at the news, and to be taking on such a successful portfolio of events: "The Penny Farthing events have a great reputation among traders and the public, and we believe they fit perfectly with our current events throughout the UK."
