WK's 650i naked sports bike has been hitting the mark with road riders, with sales booming for the fuel injected, liquid cooled, twin cylinder machine.

Now into its second season in the UK, the 650i is also hitting the results in various road race series around the country, with riders, teams and WK dealers quickly seeing the machine's potential on the race track.

A 650i race prepared by WK dealer BDS Motorcycles and ridden by Lee Teasdale, won the recent round of the North East Supertwin Series at Croft, while in Northern Ireland, Sean O'Neill (pictured) took a race win in the Mini Twins round at Bishops Court race circuit on a McKinstry Racing prepared 650i with standard suspension and brakes.

Other teams and riders are also preparing 650i race machines, including HMQ Racing working with Harris Performance on preparing a machine for this year's Isle of Man TT races in June.

The WK 650i is available though WK dealers nationwide at an RRP of £4199 including VAT and the new for 2013 650 TR sport/touring version will be available from May for £5199 including VAT.
