Bridgestone is hoping to set the pulses of thousands of motorcyclists racing, courtesy of an unprecedented £30/pair off discount on two of its latest premium, high performance radial products throughout May and June.

For the first time, the official MotoGP supplier has announced a nationwide promotion on its New BATTLAX T30 Sport Touring and S20 Hypersport products, where riders can qualify for substantial savings at their nearest Biker's Club dealer.

Full page adverts will appear in the leading consumer motorcycle publications, inviting people to make the most of the £30/pair reductions, 35 Euros/Pair in Ireland.

All enthusiasts then have to do is mention the promotion at a Bridgestone Biker's Club retailer and they will qualify for the discount, subject to availability and while offer stocks last.

Bridgestone's UK and Ireland motorcycle tyre sales manager Andy Whitehead said the offer was an attempt to reward loyal customers, while stimulating sales following a challenging start to 2013, when snow and freezing temperatures scuppered many riders' plans to get on their bikes.

He said: "We have never done anything quite on this scale before and we are hoping that it will capture our customers' imaginations.

"We have managed to take all of the hassle out of claiming the discount, with riders simply needing to mention it at the point of purchase at a Biker's Club dealer.

"We are also very aware of the current economic climate and wanted to be seen to be doing something tangible for the benefit of our customers, who we value greatly."

The BATTLAX T30 has been developed to give riders the real pleasure of touring, with improved handling and dry grip compared to the predecessor BT023 tyre.

It boasts a new compound, construction and tread pattern, all optimized for better rigidity and contact patch grip.
The BATTLAX S20 - designed for high-powered bikes - meets the demands of European sport riders for the highest handling performance in wet and dry on all types of roads and riding conditions.
