Local Care Centre Alexandra House opens its doors this Saturday, July 20th, between 11.00am and 4.00pm for a family fete in aid of BEN, the automotive industry charity. Everyone who came last year enjoyed the food, the fun and a fly past by the famous Red Arrows.

This year aviation on a different theme will be provided by an Owl display. These normally nocturnal birds are a rare and beautiful sight and captivate children of all ages.

This year the fete features a Plant Stall if you need more colour in your garden, a Crafts Stand with that unique gift you've been searching for, and plenty of food to keep you going from the BBQ to the Baked Cake Stall and, of course, refreshments from the café.

An adult and separate children's tombola are always popular, as is the raffle. In between all this will be a special game of 'Play your cards right' and 'Tin Can Alley'. All in all a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Jan Habeck, Care Centre Manager commented: 'We really do have something for everyone this Saturday. Admission is free and all proceeds of the fete will be used to purchase specialist equipment in support of our residents at Alexandra House. We look forward to seeing you all on what promises to be another sunny summer's day.'
