STAR-STUDDED SUZUKA 8-HOUR SET TO SHINE
July 25 2013.

Japan's biggest and most-prestigious motorcycle event for its motorcycle manufacturers - the Suzuka 8-Hour - is now underway after the opening day of qualifying.

A star-studded line-up for this year's 36th Coca-Cola Zero World Endurance Championship round sees former World 500cc GP Champion Kevin Schwantz (pictured) teamed with Yukio Kagayama and Nori Haga aboard a GSX-R1000, British Superbike contender Josh Brookes lined-up in the Yoshimura Suzuki team and World Superbike rider Leon Haslam is part of the Musashi RT Harc Pro Honda team.

Add to that Isle of Man TT legend John McGuiness and British Superbike riders Michael Rutter, Josh Waters and Ryuichi Kiyonari, along with Japan's finest competitors, Sunday's race looks to be set to be the biggest in recent history, with over 80,000 fans expected through the gates.
