The annual BEN Karting Championships takes place on Sunday the 27th of October at Rye House Kart Raceway in Hoddesdon. Entry couldn't be easier; find four colleagues or friends to make up a team of five and pay £50 per person. This could be either by a personal contribution to BEN or perhaps asking your company to sponsor your entry. Make it a day out and bring family and friends to cheer, or jeer you through the two hour endurance race which starts at 4.30 pm.

Whilst you're enjoying the thrills, but hopefully not spills, of kart racing you'll have the added satisfaction of knowing you have contributed to your dedicated industry charity, BEN. You will know that BEN cares for your industry colleagues, and their dependents, in times of need, taking great pride in the fact that we help thousands of people each year with practical, emotional and financial support.

Warren Neal, Events and Exhibitions Co-ordinator at BEN commented: 'The choice of circuit and format provides fun for all levels of expertise. Many entrants are happy just to enjoy the experience but of course one team also has the prestige of winning the special BEN trophy. Rye House is an excellent circuit as you would expect given that a future World Champion started racing there. Thank you to everyone in advance for supporting our cause and good luck on the day.'
