NINJA FOOTWORK FROM R&G
September 12 2013.

R&G has developed its fully adjustable Rearsets in two options for the Kawasaki ZX-6R, model years 2007-2013 (non-ABS).

Customer demand called for the ZX-6R to be next on the Firm's development list and R&G has listened; delivering the black footrests in either standard 'road' or 'race' (one up, five down) shift preferences.

Adjustable brake and gear lever positions are accompanied by a choice of 24 different mounting holes to fine-tune the footpeg locations, offering 12 separate positions. The level of adjustability allows riders to maximise the potential of the Ninja; for racers and track day goers there's the benefit of increased ground clearance and for road users this provision offers a broader scope to perfectly tailor the riding position for more comfort on the bike.

Crafted from pure 6082 aluminium for lightness with high strength and durability, the footpegs themselves are specially textured to ensure maximum grip in even the trickiest situations. Anodised black for a hard-wearing finish, the R&G Rearsets are backed up by a full range of individual spare parts and have a recommended retail price of £375.

The kit contains everything needed for a hassle free installation with clear instructions, a rear brake light switch (for legal road use) and comes supplied with two rear brake master cylinder mounting brackets; one for the '07-'08 model and one for '09-.

The world leader in motorcycle protection developed its Rearsets on track during 2010, launching them at the end of that year, and has been adding more fitments to the range, now up to 16 offerings. They are used on track by a host of race teams, including Tsingtao WK Bikes, Oxford TAG Triumph along with Team WD-40 and Ian Lougher Racing.
