RACERS TURN OUT FOR INTERNATIONAL DIRT BIKE SHOW
November 1 2013.

There was a real buzz at the opening day of the International Dirt Bike Show yesterday, with plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages taking advantage of the many free-of-charge activities and shows on offer and checking out the latest race and factory machines, kit and accessories.

Visitors flocked to the main stage to see and hear racers from motocross and road racing being interviewed by TV commentator Jack Burnicle. Of course, this is the International Dirt Bike Show and at one time the stage was packed with more motocross racing talent than you can wave a stick at. From the world of MotoGP, currently second in Moto2, top Brit Scott Redding, pictured above, enthused about his passion for motocross and outlined how he uses his Race Spec-prepped Honda 2-stroke and Kawasaki 450 four-stroke for winter training.

Many of these guys are returning to the Show today along with current British Champion, and holder of three 2013 British titles, Kristian Whatley and, of course, the two-time World MX2 Champion Jeffrey Herlings.

Kristian is on stage at 11.30am and Jeffrey will be interviewed at 12.30 and 2pm.

The Show doors remain open right up until 5.30pm today. Tickets are available on the door and parking is free.
