Products from British motorcycle damage protection firm, R&G, have been included in the official accessories brochure for the all new Honda CBR650F and CB650F.

Representatives from the R&D division of A.P. Honda Co., Ltd. – a subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd - approached R&G and invited the Alton-based firm over to the factory in Thailand to see prototype versions of the bikes in order to have premium accessories ready for the worldwide launch.

The 649cc four-cylinder ‘platform' sharing bikes from Honda promise to bring useable performance to riders of all ages and
experience, with the main difference between the two bikes being the riding position and bodywork.

Currently, A.P. Honda Co., Ltd. has selected for its catalogue R&G’s Radiator Guard – a product proven in extreme conditions at Road Races like the Isle of Man TT and North West 200 – to help prevent stones and debris from puncturing the expensive cooling system.

Also listed is the Tail Tidy; a product R&G has almost become as well known for as its crash protection products. By allowing the removal of the standard, bulky number/licence plate hanger without permanent modification to be replaced with the sharp look of the R&G version, it drastically improves the styling of the rear of the bike. Standard indicators can be retained or switched to R&G’s own “Micro” versions.

In 2014, R&G celebrates 15 years of creating innovative protection and styling products for motorcycles, along with general accessories for motorcycling. Managing Director, Simon Hughes, said: “It’s a great pleasure for R&G to be recognised by a prestigious company such as Honda and supply them products for their official accessories catalogue on what are undoubtedly important machines for the Company.”
