MORE FLEXIBILITY FOR TRAINERS BOOKING MOTORCYCLE TESTS
February 17 2014.

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has made it easier for trainers to make short notice changes to motorcycle tests. Trainers who are registered to use DVSA’s Online Business Service can now change the candidate’s name on tests up until 4.00pm, one clear working day before the test. Trainers previously had to give three working days’ notice to re-name tests.

The change gives trainers more time to offer tests to another learner if the original candidate isn’t ready in time, reducing the risk of having to cancel the test and losing the test fee.

To use the Online Business Service trainers have to be registered with DVSA as a business or trainer booker.

For more information go to GOV.UK and search ‘register as trainer booker’.
