Metzeler has partnered with Simon Pavey and the BMW Off Road Skills.

Using the latest BMW machinery (R1200GS/F800/G650), Off Road Skills provide off road training and adventure schools with structured training programmes specifically designed to instil basic techniques for every aspect of off road riding. Headed by Dakar veteran Simon Pavey, the school puts emphasis on teaching abilities, techniques and skill in a fun and friendly environment – making it the ideal partnership for Metzeler and the Karoo 3.

Metzeler has travelled the long road of Adventure riding with BMW since the original GS model in 1980 with the Enduro 1 with both a sporting and OE relationship. The International BMW Motorrad GS Trophy utilises the Karoo range for its competitors.

Commenting on the partnership, Simon Pavey said, “Our off-road skills courses are carried out on extremely varied terrain from asphalt, gravel, river crossings and deep mud. It’s so important to have a tyre on the bikes that can handle all of this abuse.”

With a packed schedule of courses to suit all abilities, BMW Off Road Skills kicks off the new season on 28th-29th March and runs through to the end of October.
