MotoGP championship leader Jorge Lorenzo has been confirmed to open Carole Nash Motorcycle Live.

The Spanish rider - who will attend courtesy of X-Lite helmets - will appear on Saturday 27 November to meet and greet fans, feature in the traditional Question of Bikes feature with Steve Parrish and participate in James Whitham's MotoGP clinic. Lorenzo is the first in a long line of racing stars confirmed to appear throughout the Event, keeping the autograph hunters well and truly on their toes.

From the World Superbike Championship, Sylvan Guintoli, Troy Corser and Leon Haslam are all set to make appearances along with soon-to-be-MotoGP rider Cal Cruthlow. Scott Redding will represent Moto2 while Bradley Smith and Danny Webb will fly the flag for the 125GP World Championship.

British Superbike stars Eugene Laverty, Tommy Hill and Michael Rutter will all be there to meet and greet fans and the TT racers will also be out in force, with Ian Hutchinson, Guy Martin and John McGuiness all set to appear.

Finlay McAllan, managing director of organiser MCI Exhibitions is thrilled with the racer line-up: "It is a huge honour to have Jorge Lorenzo. His presence will kick off proceedings with a bang and it really confirms that we are back on the world stage. The support of the racing stars is hugely important to the success of the event and to have such a strong line-up already confirmed is very exciting."

When visitors aren't seeking out their racing heroes, there are plenty of other activities to get involved in at the most interactive event yet. From My First Honda License for the youngsters and the Off-Road Experiences for the teens, to the Get On area for would-be bikers and the test ride zone for the more experienced, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.
