Motorsport fans attending round four of the 2015 Avon Tyres British GT Championship at Silverstone on Saturday the 30th of May will be offered a unique opportunity to walk, run or cycle the legendary Grand Prix circuit and raise vital much-needed funds for the automotive industry charity, BEN.

For a donation in aid of BEN and Racing4MND, attendees can #getontrack after Saturday’s qualifying session and enjoy the knowledge they are following the same line as some of the greatest names in motor racing history. All ticket holders wishing to participate should meet at the SRO Club in Silverstone’s National Paddock (opposite Race Control) from 17:00 to sign their indemnity form before being ushered to the starting grid. Track access ends at 20:00.

Anyone who doesn’t have a qualifying day ticket are also welcome to attend the #getontrack event.

The #getontrack campaign was launched during round three of the series held at Rockingham where Team GPRM unveiled the TOYOTA GT86 GT4 racer with its new BEN livery, which has been specifically designed for the car.

TV coverage will be provided by Motors TV with live coverage being shown on Sunday from 12.00 until the Podium Ceremony.

“Team GPRM are very excited about raising awareness and funds for BEN plus the opportunity it presents to our fans,” said Richard Williams. “This will be a dream come true for many and what an amazing experience for people who have always wanted to get on the track where their heroes have raced. BEN is a worthy charity and I would ask everyone to get behind this campaign and shout about it on social media. Let’s make this an evening to remember knowing we are helping those less fortunate and who need BEN’s help and support.”

BEN’s Head of Business Innovation, Nigel Williams commented: “Silverstone, Team GPRM and British GT have truly come up trumps with this #getontrack initiative. This is a superb opportunity for motorsport fans to walk their favourite track and be part of its history knowing that at the same time they are raising money for a great cause and helping those who are in need.”
