BULTACO APPOINTS URBAN MOTO
August 7 2015

The distribution of Bultaco products in the United Kingdom will be taken over exclusively by Urban Moto. A London outlet has already been established with further key areas under discussion in Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester. A total of nineteen retail points are plannedto be open by the end of 2017.

Following rave reviews from Europe's motorcycle press, the Brinco "Bultaco Is Back Limited Edition" was already sold out mere days after Brinco's international launch.

Limited to just 175 units, the exclusive model was launched to celebrate Bultaco's return to the international motorcycle market after a hiatus of 32 years.

The success confirms the desirability of the innovative new concept, which marks the start of a new era for the legendary Spanish brand with the thumbs up logo.

Brinco, the first in a range of new innovative motorcycles by Bultaco and the world's first Moto-Bike, is a perfect symbiosis between a bicycle and an electric motorcycle offering a unique ride experience and performance. The Moto-Bike was first presented to key media in July 2015 and received overwhelming press reviews. Bultaco Motors plans to build 1,000 Brinco in 2015. In September, the non-homologated version Brinco R will enter production at the newly built factory in Montmeló, just a few hundred meters away from the famous Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The road homologated version Brinco S is scheduled to follow during the fourth quarter of the year.

With the same specifications as the Limited Edition, the offroad Moto-Bike Brinco R comes in two colours, a sporty red and black combination and an elegant blue and black, resembling the colours of the legendary Bultaco models Frontera and Pursang. The non-homologated Brinco R delivers 60 Nm of torque reaching 60 kph (38 mph) through the combined traction of a 100% electric engine and an independent pedalling system. It is intended for all adventurers wanting to enjoy its dynamic ride quality exclusively on private trails and off-road routes.

The homologated Brinco S is designed for users who want to ride their Brinco on a daily basis, on the way to work in the city and for tours to the countryside. This version will include a rear-view mirror, rear fender with licence plate bracket, front headlight, rear reflector, side reflectors, rear passenger seat, side stand and horn.

Bultaco offers the Brinco S in two different homologations:
• L1e-A *: speed limited to 25 kph (15,5 mph) * (electric bike)
• L1e-B *: speed limited to 45 kph (28 mph) * (moped)
