Matt Walker has taken up the role of General Manager at KTM UK with immediate effect following Shaun Sisterson’s recent resignation.

Walker, (39) has been with KTM in the UK for 11 years and formerly held the position of National Sales Manager. During his time with the Brackley-based operation for the Austrian brand, Matt has been responsible for driving forward Motorcycle and PG&A sales, but also successfully contributed towards the UKs Marketing and Customer Service strategy.

On making this appointment, Managing Director of KTM Sportmotorcycle GmbH Florian Kecht said: “I am looking forward to seeing Matt grow in his new role and I am sure that we can make important future steps together with KTM UK, while continuing the hard work in this market, which is famous for its passion in motorsport.”

KTM is enjoying huge success as Europe’s largest motorcycle manufacturer and is on course to break many more of its company records in 2015 in terms of motorcycles produced and sold, as well as company turnover.
