OXFORD GOES GREEN
January 5 2016.

Oxford Products has further enhanced its green credentials by installing a solar farm on the roof of its 100,000 sq ft distribution centre in Witney, Oxfordshire.

This is the first tranche of a planned 250kw solar facility which will provide Oxford Products with all of its electricity requirements, with plenty left over to feed back into the grid. So far, panels producing 50kw have been installed and this will be increased in the New Year to 100kw. As soon as local infrastructure has been upgraded to handle the full 250kw, Oxford will complete the project.

Spearheading the work, Operations Manager Stefan Davies is upbeat about the prospects of clean energy: "Solar power is clean, renewable and cost effective; Oxford believes that the future for solar energy is bright".
