January 29 2016.

The Monster Energy Arenacross Tour continues to deliver on providing a high point during the otherwise dull month of January, with packed – often capacity - crowds enjoying top-notch race action and freestyle entertainment.

Media coverage in print, online, on radio and television has ensured that the Tour’s sponsors have obtained high return on investment, and new-for-2016 partner TomTom has really embraced the opportunities the tour presents for its Bandit action camera. Setting out its stall on the concourse of each arena, the company has reported being pleasantly surprised by the level of interest in, and take-up of, its new gadget.

The TomTom Bandit Action camera makes editing and sharing videos quick and easy. Instead of spending hours downloading and sorting through footage, users can edit and share their creation within moments of the action. It works with a smartphone app, which includes a superfast viewfinder and footage can be reviewed instantly.

The Bandit has been a hit with the younger members of the Arenacross Tour too. The Supermini racers all have a camera fitted to their helmets and the footage so far has been interesting

Rounds eight and nine of the 2016 Arenacross Tour take place this weekend at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena from 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday the 30th and 31st of January.
