Steve Parrish commentator, ex-motorcycle and truck racer, Guinness World Record holder, former race team manager and eternal practical joker, will be the guest of honour at the International Classic MotorCycle Show at Staffordshire County Showground this weekend.

Acknowledged as one of the biggest events of its kind, the Stafford classic will welcome ‘Stavros’ on stage throughout the weekend where he’ll entertain the crowds with tales from his rich career in motorsport.

Exhibition manager Nick Mowbray said; “Classic Bike Shows are thrilled to welcome Steve to our 36th annual Stafford spring show, and we are confident that he is going to prove a huge hit with the thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts who will pour through the gates to hear him speak.”

A flagship event on the classic motorcycling calendar, the show offers what is considered to be the widest selection of classic motorcycles, anywhere in the world. Many of these bikes will be in action too, with parade laps set to take place around the main ring, along with the firing up of race bikes in the Classic Racer GP Paddock

Several halls and outside areas of the venue are packed with trade stands and autojumble plots, all supported by the regular appearance of special star guests, a host of classic motorcycle clubs, classic off-road machines and the always intriguing Bonhams’ spring sale, which will take place on Sunday, April the 24th

Further live action will be taking place throughout the weekend, with the return of the Restoration Theatre and ex-TV presenter and restoration expert Jerry Thurston restoring a classic machine throughout the weekend.
