In the past 12 months, Oxford Products has brought three successful young people through apprenticeships in the business and into full-time roles, with two more close to finishing.

Continuing the company’s relationship with Abingdon and Witney College, Oxford has recently recruited another four apprentices into various departments.

Sales Support has gained Eleanor Scarisbrick and Sean Caffekey, both learning all aspects of supporting the sales team and the UK dealer network. Marketing has welcomed Ellie Simmons, who will be supporting the new Oxford B2B website, iPad app and associated digital media. Alysia Anderson is learning all aspects of the purchasing and product development process, from administration to international product sourcing.

Oxford has also grown its full-time staff within the past month. Dannielle Lyon is looking after the Southern sales team and their dealerships; Jake Darby has expanded the Graphic Design team to six people, and Katalina Marshall is the company’s new Data Analyst. Extra hands in the warehouse come from Alex Hollis and Tracey Lawler, to ensure Oxford maintains its service promise of efficient, on-time deliveries.

The company now employs some 114 people and, at the recent Oxfordshire Business Awards, was a finalist in two categories: Large Company of the Year and the Employer of the Year.
