|ARENACROSS UPS THE STAKES WITH PITSTOP
November 20th, 2018.
The Arenacross Tour has made yet another original move by becoming the country’s first off-road race series to secure a betting partner.
The recently-launched Pitstop Betting (PSB) enters the AX arena for 2019, and its inclusion within the Tour is set to fire up the imagination of Arenacross fans and induce plenty of ringside entertainment. The PitstopBetting platform is delivered via an exclusive App, dedicated to motorsports, and downloadable through the App Store and Google Play. Its simple mobile interface is designed, not just for placing wagers, but to also provide comprehensive information on the series, the races, the riders and so on.
PSB challenged the status quo of sports book products for motorsport fans, by introducing its ‘swipe-to-bet’ mobile app in June this year. The app offers odds on the most popular international motor racing series across all motorsport, and the official partnership with the Arenacross Tour will result in an enhanced, exciting and rewarding offer for bike fans both at home, and at trackside.
There will be a host of different and fun ways to pledge an Arenacross bet, across the Pro and Pro Lites classes, such as best British rider, who’ll crash when and where, who’ll grab the holeshot, and even who’ll get elbowed-out first in the Head-to-Head, as well as the more traditional winners of qualifying, Main Events and Super Final.
Responsible gambling is the name of the game with Pitstop. To this end it conforms to, and holds, all relevant Gambling Commission licences enabling it to operate in the UK. Gamblers must be over the age of 18-years and the maximum bet placed will be limited to £50, with a minimum of just £1. Punters can also insure their bets so that, if they bet and they lose, they get their stake back minus the insurance amount.
Looking ahead to his firm’s involvement with the Arenacross Tour, Pitstop Betting’s Co-Founder and CEO Simon Vumbaca said; “Pitstop is bringing plenty of new enhancements to its fire plays proposition in the next few months to ensure the experience provides rewarding entertainment. From peer-to-peer wagers, where you can challenge friends and other players and join the play leader board, to some fascinating new features, we believe PSB will mark a first in motorsport betting. Pitstop is solely focused on the motorsport market, and so Arenacross is a great addition to our current portfolio. We focus on specific communities and try to set plays relevant to real fans so as to add to the experience in an hopefully rewarding manner to them. I am excited for Pitstop to be involved with the AX community, and to introduce it to our unique betting experience. Our App provides users with the perfect platform from which to engage with motorsport, offering in-depth statistical and news tools making it even easier for fans to put their knowledge to the test as they play – and win – in all formats of Arenacross.”
ASL’s CEO Matt Bates added; “It is great to have secured what is a landmark partnership, not just within Arenacross, but motocross in the UK, with Pitstop Betting becoming the first ever betting partner of Arenacross. Arenacross is the perfect event for people to have fun, and quick fire flutters on their favourite riders. The insurance elements and capped amounts, along with the great level of content on the app is exactly the reason Pitstop will fit so well with the Arenacross family. Playing with Arenacross should only be fun and enhance the overall show experience. It's been a long term ambition of mine to see people being able to legally bet at Arenacross, I think it will only add to the already incredible atmosphere.”
