Arai's UK distributor Moto Direct, has updated details of the all-new Arai Quantic with the news that the helmet is planned to be approved to ECE R22-06.

The Quantic is aimed at the enthusiastic, sports-touring long-distance rider and will sit in the Arai range somewhere between the popular Profile-V and range-topping, track-focused RX-7V.

As with all Arai helmets, the Quantic is built for protection. The outer shell maintains core strength, but with a substantial weight reduction. The signature Arai smooth, round shape is primarily designed to ‘glance-off’ and spread impact forces.

The high-specification Quantic combines elements found on sportier Arai helmets with features from some of the manufacturer’s more comfortable lids, and adds fresh highlights of its own. The Quantic’s interior was designed from scratch for maximum comfort and airflow - a neat 3D Arai logo feeds cooling air into two central intake points and works well at low speed.

It features a 5mm flare around the base for easy access on and off, and the VAS MAX vision visor comes with a Pinlock insert ready to use. The brushed nylon interior is removable and features Facial Contour System (FCS) and neck roll wire pocket. The interior and cheek pads are easily removed for cleaning or adjustment. It also features Emergency Release System (ERS).

SRP: £599.99 (graphics). £499.99 (solid colourways).

Stock will be available from March 2021, however, dealers can place pre-orders now.
